Inspired by Tibetan female elders, our pillows are based on the personality and physical traits of our momos (grandmoms). Always dressed in their traditional regalia with taut braids, they are forever up to some mischief!

As part of a matrilineal household, Dechen inherited and took charge of her ancestral home like the generations of daughters before her. But now, exiled in Kathmandu she missed shepherding her sheep and yaks, riding free with her horses and wrestling her friends in the green, lush summer pastures. But she kept her head and spirits high. You could recognize her from a distance. Her hair in undulating waves like the stripes on a tiger’s skin and parted in the middle with two taut braids. The round, hairy mole on her face gave away her mischievous and fiery personality.
